EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING (EAL) is an experiential modality using interaction with horses to address goals. The focus is on Discovery rather than Instruction. Each experience is more about the Process than the Goal. Sessions are presented using the Socratic Method, which allows participants to come to their own learning solutions with the use of guided questioning and the opportunity for observation, experimentation, and reflection. Topics often addressed in EAL sessions include cooperation, listening skills, conflict resolution, & exploring family or group dynamics.
